| Bringing Caring Support to the Front Line |
 |
|
| To help ensure bereaved parents receive caring, compassionate
support right from the start, PBSO provides education services to
a variety of front-line professionals. One and two-day seminars are
available to health care professionals, clergy and funeral directors
to help them understand the special support these parents need at
the time their baby dies. The seminars are held in a number of Ontario
communities throughout the year. Click

| One-Day Sensitivity Training Seminar |
 |
|
| One-day seminars help professionals to be more sensitive
to the needs of parents who have experienced the death of a baby.
The seminar covers a number of bereavement issues, and includes a
Parent Panel. It often is hosted by a health care facility exclusively
for their staff, or, with special invitations to heath care partners
in their own community. |
 |
| Two-Day Bereavement Support Training |
 |
|
| The two-day seminar offers professionals a more in-depth
study of perinatal grief theory. The seminar includes presentations
from several professionals, hands-on workshops, video presentations
and a Parent Panel. |
